My name is Mosses Lulungen being born in Alailelai village in Ngorongoro conservation area. My parents and ancestors were born in the greater plains of Serengeti national park which was formed in 1959. I grew in the land and became a warrior of Maasai society after passing the rite passage of the Maasai in our living culture. Attending my family livestock in the highlands of Ngorongoro conservation area and near the dispersals of Serengeti plains my life of living in the luxury of being natural made me to discover the potentials protected by my ancestors of coexisting with wildlife.
I interacted with wildlife with all my life since I was a herder as the wildlife too grazed besides our livestock in the boundary of nature. When I was a warrior the curiosity of safaris met me on the plains as some clients were walking along the way, plains to the craters as I was herding of which such walking safaris of other people made me think. I wanted to do a sort of a job, walking safari.
One day when I was herding at Elbulbul depression some clients were having their walking safari towards Empakai crater of which they were attracted by my outstanding handsomeness of Maasai warrior with a spear, they talked to me because my smile, open heart and my livelihood which was integrated into the life of nature was amazing to them. Our conversation based on the stories found on the land and the magic of nature formed million years ago including the habitation of human beings and their harmony to the wildlife. At the end of our conversation they asked me to lead them on the way to the crater for nature walk, I did it with my experienced knowledge and full of enthusiasm.
As a man grew up with indigenous knowledge of the area I saw the significant of creating safaris to different clients because I have a tale to tell of which I am not the owner of the story until I give it to the people. I am the founder of this growing company, the company that shows its clients the natural features of the landscapes, wildlife, and the living cultures of different ethnic groups and archaeological sites of the dead cultures.
