SUSTAINABILITY IS OUR WAY OF LIFE
Reconnect yourself with nature
The indigenous people manage 80% of the Earth’s biodiversity, but they only occupy 22% of the planet’s surface. The indigenous communities play a crucial role in protecting our planet. For example, the Hadzabe only gather wild honey during periods of the rainy season so that bees are able to store a surplus. They never take more than nature can give for them. They are custodians of their ancestral lands and they have indigenous knowledge that respects nature in all aspects. We bring these same values on our trips.
We minimize travel’s environmental impacts and maximize benefits for local people. Our experiences take place in the most beautiful African nature. Travelers can completely slow down and enjoy the surrounding nature with a low impact on the environment.
All our tours and expeditions are designed and run by the indigenous people themselves, like the Maasai and the Hadzabe in Tanzania. We provide unique experiences where travelers stay with indigenous hosts in their homes, villages, and homesteads. Our indigenous hosts prepare food from the local and traditional ingredients. Travelers can join their unique lifestyles and immerse themselves in their fascinating cultures.

Cultures & People
EXPLORE MAASAI AND HADZABE CULTURES IN TANZANIA
THE MAASAI
More than a hundred years ago the Maasai ruled over much of East Africa. Their feared warriors were renowned for their bravery. In the past, every Maasai warrior was obliged to kill a lion, as it was symbolically a rite of passage. Until these days, the Maasai have a special relationship with their land, the wild animals, and cattle.
The Maasai are pastoralists who have adopted a revitalized approach to preserve their culture in modern times. Their traditional diet consists of almost entirely on the meat, blood, and milk of their herds. Their way of life is deeply rooted in traditions that have been practiced in the same way for hundreds of years. The Maasai are known for their age-set system that is united around prophetic leaders or diviners. There are about 430,000 Maasai in Tanzania who live along the Great Rift Valley on semi-arid and arid lands. Immerse yourself in fascinating Maasai culture.
THE HADZABE
The Hadzabe are hunter-gatherers who live only in the Lake Eyasi region of Tanzania. There are estimated to be around 1,300 Hadzabe people living in Tanzania. Their way of life has remained unchanged over the millennia and they live in small wandering groups of about twenty individuals. We join one of these family units in the deep bush. The Hadzabe men hunt animals using three different kinds of bows and arrows. As well as wild meat, the Hadzabe women gather roots and tubers using digging sticks, and men collect natural wild honey found in trees.
The hadzabe grow no food, raise no livestock, and live without rules or calendars. The Hadzabe are the heirs of the very first human beings, the kids of Olduvai Gorge and Koobi Fora who still have a symbiotic relationship with the environment, the purest example of an anarchic society with no rules, and no chief. The Hadzabe live from nature and their spirituality is not a religion but rather an integral part of their culture. You have the privilege to learn more about their relationship with the natural world.
Message from the Founder
My name is Mosses Lulungen being born in Alailelai village in Ngorongoro conservation area. My parents and ancestors were born in the greater plains of Serengeti national park which was formed in 1959. I grew in the land and became a warrior of Maasai society after passing the rite passage of the Maasai in our living culture. Attending my family livestock in the highlands of Ngorongoro conservation area and near the dispersals of Serengeti plains my life of living in the luxury of being natural made me to discover the potentials protected by my ancestors of coexisting with wildlife.
I interacted with wildlife with all my life since I was a herder as the wildlife too grazed besides our livestock in the boundary of nature. When I was a warrior the curiosity of safaris met me on the plains as some clients were walking along the way, plains to the craters as I was herding of which such walking safaris of other people made me think. I wanted to do a sort of a job, walking safari.
One day when I was herding at Elbulbul depression some clients were having their walking safari towards Empakai crater of which they were attracted by my outstanding handsomeness of Maasai warrior with a spear, they talked to me because my smile, open heart and my livelihood which was integrated into the life of nature was amazing to them. Our conversation based on the stories found on the land and the magic of nature formed million years ago including the habitation of human beings and their harmony to the wildlife. At the end of our conversation they asked me to lead them on the way to the crater for nature walk, I did it with my experienced knowledge and full of enthusiasm.
As a man grew up with indigenous knowledge of the area I saw the significant of creating safaris to different clients because I have a tale to tell of which I am not the owner of the story until I give it to the people. I am the founder of this growing company, the company that shows its clients the natural features of the landscapes, wildlife, and the living cultures of different ethnic groups and archaeological sites of the dead cultures.
Visit Natives worldwide limited was founded in 2019 under the company act in Tanzania. This company is a traveling agency to its guests or clients to the best destinations of their choice. The itineraries are made by the indigenous guides to meet the desire of individual clients. My message to you is that, I appeal to you to come and travel with us, your life memories will never be the same again as you will experience the amazing wildlife and culture.
